apps/studio/src/studio.config.tsx, with defineStudio.
defineStudio takes a handful of settings:
Parts that can be added
- Sidebar structure: what appears in the sidebar, and in what order.
- Field and view types: new kinds of field and new ways to look at records.
- Blocks: pieces for Home, record pages and the side panel.
- Pages and commands: whole screens and palette commands.
- Theming: colours, fonts and corners.
Where the code lives
A part can come from the app itself, instudio.config.tsx, or from a module’s ./studio export. A part that belongs with a module’s data should live in the module, so that it travels with it.
To work on the studio without a server, run VITE_MOCK=1 pnpm dev:studio. It starts the studio on an in-memory fake backend.
